When did Klocke Estate open?

Klocke Estate opened to the public on July 17, 2024. The vision was developed over two decades and the Estate was purchased in January 2018.

Who founded Klocke Estate?

John Frishkopf and Brett Mattingly

How many acres is the property?

There are 182 acres total; 60 acres are cultivated vineyards and orchards.

Do you grow all your own fruit?

Our vision is that our grape and apple brandies, and several eau de vie, will be entirely estate grown. However, it takes years to plant and tend vineyards and orchards. We also work with carefully selected growers with whom we partner to grow fruit that is ideal for brandy and eau de vie.

What farming methods do you use?

Regenerative organic agriculture

Can I tour the orchards and vineyards?

You may, but only accompanied by a staff person. Our vineyards and orchards are fragile, so we need to ensure their safety.
